Haemophilus influenzae type B (Hib) Infographic

Hib (Haemophilus influenzae type B) is hardly a household word, but the bacterium can be very nasty to young children. A vaccine was introduced in 1985, and since then rates of severe Hib infections have decreased more than 90% in areas where the vaccine is routine.
