We had an untraditional Thanksgiving yesterday. Our little family went to the area near Sly Park to let the baby experience snow. We walked through snow on the shore of Jenkinson Lake. We ate delicious Italian turkey sandwiches from the Safeway in Pollock Pines for lunch. We came home and fed Theo his first meat dish: pureed turkey. Then we went to Mimi’s Cafe for dinner.
