Rain boots tend to lose effectiveness above five inches. This was after one of our rare rainstorms during this drought, in Old Sacramento in front of the Pony Express monument. Afterward, Theo’s boots held about an inch of water and copious mud.
So he crashes into a few things. At least he can reach the accelerator now.
